VISI is an open standard focused on digital communication between parties in a construction project. Using VISI, it is determined when (process), who (role), what (information), and to whom (role) is delivered. Examples include issuing orders, submitting schedules, delivering results, and reporting deviations. Current users are also located outside the public sector, such as (international) construction groups hired as contractors by governments.
VISI must be mandatorily applied to the exchange of construction process information between parties in the construction sector, covering civil engineering, road and water construction, residential and non-residential construction, and the installation sector.
