The goal of the EE Alliance is to stimulate the development of an integrated library of tools and methods for learning and doing enterprise engineering, whilst ensuring scientific rigour, relevance to practice, and actionability. To achieve this, the EE-Alliance involves a tight interaction between three kinds of actors:
- Geographically organised associations concerning the use of enterprise engineering in practice, in terms of local EE Associations.
- The research community concerned with the further development of the enterprise engineering discipline, in terms of an international EE Research Network.
- The EE Foundation as coordinator and facilitator of (1) the alliance as a whole, (2) the standardisation of relevant methods, supporting modelling languages, and tools, as well as (3) publishing of books on enterprise engineering targeting an international audience; e.g. in terms of Springer’s EE Series.
